Broome

 

Explore the Dampier Peninsula and Cape Leveque – Broome's most northerly point, resplendent with sparkling waters and pindan cliffs. Using our 4x4 coaches we explore these remote and beautiful beaches.

 

 

DAY 1:     Broome to Lombadina

Departing Broome, we head north across the rugged Dampier Peninsula and visit Beagle Bay, home to the famous Pearl Shell Altar in the 1918 mission built by the Pallotine monks.  Next stop is the Lombadina Aboriginal Community to absorb the local indigenous culture.  Overnight camp at Kooljaman – Cape Leveque.  (L/D)

 

 

DAY 2:     Lombadina to Broome

Enjoy free time at Kooljaman – Cape Leveque overlooking the Indian Ocean, taking time out to relax and enjoy the spectacular coastline and sparkling waters.  After lunch we head back to Broome arriving just in time for sunset at the world famous Cable Beach.                                                      (B/L)
